Specialized Meeting on “Understanding the Process of Formation and Development of Shahabahang Rural Cooperative of Shahriar”
A scientific meeting entitled “Understanding the Process of Formation and Development of Shahabahang Rural Cooperative of Shahriar” was held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, with the presence of Dr. Hossein Asgari, Deputy CEO of the Shahabahang Rural Cooperative of Shahriar, at the Research Institute for Islamic Studies in Humanities, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
In this session, Dr. Asgari presented a report on the formation process of the Shahabahang Cooperative, elaborating on its development path and the factors contributing to its success. Referring to the role of public trust, financial transparency, and the efforts of managers and members, he identified these elements as fundamental pillars of sustainability and growth in grassroots cooperatives.
He also highlighted the importance of interaction between academic institutions and the cooperative sector, emphasizing the necessity of utilizing research findings to improve cooperative management systems.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Asgari announced the readiness of the Shahabahang Cooperative of Shahriar to collaborate in scientific, research, and advisory fields, and called for the continuation of relations between the two institutions in the path of knowledge-based development of cooperatives.
