1. Where is your institute located and when did it start its work?

The institute for Islamic Studies in Humanities is located at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Islamic Republic of Iran, West Asia, and has been operating since 2008.

2. What research fields does your institute work on?

Our institute works on interdisciplinary areas of humanities with Islamic approach including Islamic education, Islamic economics, Islamic management, and Islamic laws and jurisprudence.

3. Does your institute accept students for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral or postdoctoral studies?

Our Institute offers you two opportunities in this case:
✓ Postdoctoral course at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad on the topic of Islamic studies in your area of specialization.
✓ Research-based student course in the specialized field of Islamic studies including educational units based on opinion of the professor.

4. Do your research departments accept foreign members?

Yes, if you are a PhD graduate (or higher) and have a background in Islamic studies in the humanities, all research departments and working groups of our institute are respectfully willing to accept you as a member after reviewing your CV and collaborate with you.
You can select and complete the form you want from the “forms and guidelines” section of the institute's website and send it to the institute email address so that it can be made available to the research department chair to call you respectfully.

5. What process is required to go through to register a joint research project with your institute?

From the “forms and guidelines” section of the institute's website, select and complete the form you want and send it to the institute email address so that the chair of related research department can guide you through the process, depending on the subject and dimensions of the project.

6. Can your institution publish my articles and books in Persian or non-Persian?

Yes, our institution has an independent publishing house and journal and it is possible to publish your articles and books on a related topic (Islamic Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences) under your name in physical and electronic forms.
