A specialized session on the topic of "People- Oriented Economy" was held at the Institute for Islamic Studies in Humanities at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, with Hojjat-Al-eslam Ali Keshvari in attendance.
During the session, emphasis was placed on the central role of the people as the main actors in the production sphere. Drawing on verses from the Holy Quran and Islamic traditions, the necessity of direct and responsible public participation in the production of essential goods and services was highlighted. c Keshvari described a people-based economy as a foundation for realizing healthy, just, and sustainable economic activities.
The session also examined the structural challenges facing the government in facilitating public participation in the economy. Administrative bureaucracy and the lack of necessary legal mechanisms to support grassroots production were identified among the most significant obstacles that the government must address in order to achieve a resistance economy.
