Fourth Session of the Economic Lecture Series Held: "Resistance Economy in the Light of National Unity and National Security"

The fourth session of the lecture series, entitled "Post-War Emerging Economy: Opportunities for Progress and Investment in the New Economic Horizon of Khorasan Razavi," was held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with a speech by Mr. Hamed Shaterzadeh Yazdi. The session was hosted in the Council Hall of the Institute for Islamic Studies in Humanities (IISH) and was attended by a group of researchers and enthusiasts.

During the session, following a comparative analysis of global experiences of countries involved in war and an examination of the province's territorial capacities, development approaches for Khorasan Razavi in a "post-war economy" were outlined, with a focus on the digital economy. These approaches are structured across three operational levels—immediate, restorative, and developmental—and are based on the following four key axes:

Revitalizing agriculture with a transit-economy approach;

Reconstructing the province's transit infrastructure;

A resilient pilgrimage and tourism economy;

Processing and knowledge-based industries leveraging the province's transit position.

Given the country's current circumstances, Khorasan Razavi Province can emerge as a development hub in the post-war years. Therefore, raising these issues in academic circles is both urgent and essential. Furthermore, the IISH, in line with its "people-centered approach," can place the pursuit of these axes on its agenda.
