An academic session titled "The Relationship Between Bank Ownership of Firms and the Inflation Rate, and its Implications for Deposit Interest Rate Changes" was held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in the meeting hall of the IISH at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The session featured a presentation by Dr. Vahid Arshadi, Assistant Professor in the Islamic Economics Department.
At the beginning of the session, Dr. Vahid Arshadi presented his research on the aforementioned topic. Following the presentation, the designated discussants, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Javad Razmi, Professor in the Department of Economics at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad; Dr. Ali Nemati, Assistant Professor in the Islamic Economics Department of the Institute; and Dr. Ali Mostafavi Thani, Assistant Professor in the Islamic Economics Department of the Institute, provided a critical examination of the theoretical and analytical dimensions of the subject.
