Brainstorming Session Held by the Economics Department of IISH on the Relationship Between Iran's Economy and the Ramadan War of Attrition

A brainstorming session was held by the Economics Department of the Institute on the relationship between Iran's economy and the Ramadan War of Attrition on Sunday, April 25, 2026, at the Institute for Islamic Studies in Humanities.

During the session, in light of the department's approach and agenda in the area of popularizing the economy, as well as the connection of Khorasan Razavi Province to the subject of the War of Attrition, discussions and exchanges of views took place among the members and attending faculty.

Based on the summary of the discussions and the points and suggestions raised during the session, it was decided that the department's future activities and research would be pursued along two axes:

  • General Axis: Producing simple, accessible, and appropriate content for the general public on the resistance economy and the state of Iran's economy under wartime conditions, particularly for use in public gatherings.
  • Research Axis: Studying the advantages and position of Khorasan Razavi Province for playing an effective role in supporting the country's economic situation, as well as the province's capacities under similar conditions.

This session was held with the aim of fostering intellectual synergy and providing direction for the Economics Department's future programs.
